    Bachelor of Communication students will be armed with cutting-edge information and knowledge, critical thinking skills, leadership abilities, and industry experience, all of which to make students versatile as we prepare them for highly sought after jobs/careers in the communication and media-related industries. Communication is, of course, a basic part of human interaction in our work, play and daily living. It is also a key engine of growth in today’s global economy. The rise of the communication technology has generated a number of new jobs and careers. At the same time, it has opened up new possibilities to existing jobs and careers like in advertising and public relations. Having a bachelor’s degree in communication will certainly prepare graduates well for interesting and rewarding employment. The Bachelor of Communication (Hons) is a communication programme offering four (4) exciting specialisations: Advertising & Brand Management, Public Relations & Persuasion, Organisational & Corporate Communication, Integrated Marketing Communication

Entry Requirements

  • UEC
    Pass UEC with minimum Grade B for 5 subjects
  • SPM/STPM
    Pass STPM or its equivalent with minimum Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any two subjects and a credit in English at SPM or its equivalent
  • Foundation/ Matric
    Matriculation/Foundation or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and credit in English at SPM or its equivalent
  • Diploma
    Diploma or its equivalent with a minimum of CGPA of 2.00 and a credit in English at SPM or its equivalent; OR Diploma in Media and Communication/Mass Communication/Public Relations or its equivalent
  • Others
    Pass STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid and a credit in English at SPM or its equivalent; Any other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis (in accordance with the qualifications that are recognized by MoHE)
  • English Requirements
    International Student : minimum 5.0 IELTS or its equivalent
