SPM/STPM

i. Passed the Malaysian High School Certificate (STPM) or equivalent with at least Grade C (CGPA 2.0) in 2 subjects including Arabic; and passed the related language subject either at the SPM (or equivalent) or STPM level; or
STAM

ii. Passed the Malaysian Higher Certificate of Religion (STAM) (Jayyid Level) and passed the related language subject at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level (or equivalent); STAM students who took or not passed Arabic at the SPM (or equivalent) level may be considered for a bachelor's degree program in Arabic; or
UEC

iii. Passed UEC with at least Grade B in 5 subjects and passed related Language subject; or
Other

i. Passed Matriculation / Foundation from any IPTA / IPTS / Institution authorized to offer foundation program with CGPA 2.00; as well as passed the related language subject at the SPM (or equivalent) level; or
ii. Diploma with at least a CGPA of 2.00 and passed the related Language subject at the SPM level (or equivalent); or
iii. Other qualifications recognized by the Malaysian government

All international students applying to MEDIU must have a valid TOEFL or IELTS or other recognized English certificate of not more than two years old upon the registration.
