    In Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) in Cyber Security, students will learn the basics of information security, security infrastructure design and implementation, computer forensics, risk assessments and securities security impacts in business operations. Students learn to design, implement, integrate and manage various components of security infrastructure through a mix of theoretical and hand-ons activity. Specific skills are developed through courses such as Cryptography, Ethical Hacking, Digital Forensic, Network Security, Cybersecurity Operations and Industrial Training.

    This degree program provides students with a wide range of cyber security and career development in various environments such as corporate, government agencies and consultancy

Entry Requirements

  • SPM/STPM
    Passed Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent with a minimum grade of C (NGMP 2.00) in any TWO (2) subjects and credits in Mathematics at the SPM level

    OR

    Passed the Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) or equivalent with minimum grade Jayyid in any TWO (2) subjects and credits in Mathematics at the SPM level
  • Matriculation/Foundation
    Matriculation / Foundation or equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and credit in Mathematics at the SPM level
  • Other
    Diploma in Computer Science or Software Engineering or Information Technology or Information System or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.50 and credit in Mathematic on SPM level

    OR

    Any Diploma in Science and Technology or business studies with minimum CGPA 2.50 are accepted based on internal evaluation and credit in Mathematic on SPM level
  • English Requirements
    For international students, a minimum score 500 for Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International Language Testing System (IELTS) score is required at least Band 5.0 or equivalent. If the student did not fulfilled the required terms, PPT needs to provide them with English Proficiency course to make sure the student fulfilled the required terms of admissions for the program.
