  • Description
    This programme is designed to provide high-quality undergraduate education to the students with the objective of preparing them for prolific careers and providing graduate training in the area of IT. This programme will reinforce IT areas while inventing and implementing new technology. The graduates will be able to apply sound judgement to the production, communal, ethical and professional issues of the rapidly developing computing industry.

Entry Requirements

  • SPM/STPM
    A pass in STPM with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) in any 2 subjects and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent;

    Note: Requirement for credit in Mathematics at SPM level of the candidate may be exempted if the qualification contains Mathematics subject and its achievement as the equivalent /higher than the subject credit requirement at SPM level.

    Candidate with a credit in computing related subject at SPM or STPM level or its equivalent may be given preferential consideration.
  • Matriculation/Foundation
    A pass in Matriculation or Foundation studies with minimum CGPA of 2.0 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent;

    Note: Requirement for credit in Mathematics at SPM level of the candidate may be exempted if the qualification contains Mathematics subject and its achievement as the equivalent /higher than the subject credit requirement at SPM level.

    Candidate with a credit in computing related subject at SPM or STPM level or its equivalent may be given preferential consideration.
  • Other
    A Diploma in Computer Science OR Software Engineering OR Information Technology OR Information Systems or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR

    Any other Diploma in Science and technology or business studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 may be admitted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment process and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.

    Note: Requirement for credit in Mathematics at SPM level of the candidate may be exempted if the qualification contains Mathematics subject and its achievement as the equivalent /higher than the subject credit requirement at SPM level.

    Candidates with CGPA below 2.5 but above 2.0 with a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment process.

    Candidate with a credit in computing related subject at SPM or STPM level or its equivalent may be given preferential consideration.
  • English Requirements
    English Language Testing System (IELTS) test with a minimum score of 6.0 or equivalent is required.
