Course Details

Entry Requirements

• SPM/STPM
  A pass in Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any two (2) subjects, and credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent;
  
  OR
  
  A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) or equivalent, with a minimum Grade Jayyid in any two (2) subjects, and credit in Mathematics at SPM level
• Matriculation/Foundation
  A pass in Matriculation/ Foundation qualification with a minimum CGPA 2.00 and credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent
• Direct Entry to Year 2 of Degree
  Diploma
  Graduated in diploma (Level 4 KKM) in Computer Science or Software Engineering or Information Technology or Information Systems or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent
  
  Graduated in diploma (Level 4 KKM) in Science and Technology or Business Studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 will be considered for admission subject to a rigorous internal assessment process and credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent;
• Other
  Other qualifications that are recognized equivalent by the Malaysian Government
  
  Diploma candidates with CGPA below 2.50 but above 2.00 with a credit in Mathematics at SPM level can be accepted for admission subject to a rigorous internal assessment process
• English Requirements
  For international students, a minimum score 500 for Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score is required at least Band 5.0 or equivalent. If the student did not fulfilled the required terms, KUPTM needs to provide them with English Proficiency course to make sure the student fulfilled the required terms of admissions of the program.
