AIMST's mission is to offer world-class education at affordable rates to one and all, in line with the aspiration of its visionary founder, Tun Dato’ Seri Utama S. Samy Vellu. The Faculty of Medicine at AIMST entered into Avicenna’s directory for Medicine in 2010 (Avicenna, the successor to WHO is currently referred to as World Directory of Medical Schools). In 2013, AIMST got the global award for ‘Leadership in medical sciences education excellence’, which is one more feather on the cap of Faculty of Medicine. In 2016, AIMST University’s MBBS degree got recognized by Medical Council of India. Faculty of Medicine has MoUs and strategic partnerships with several National and International Institutions which include Queen Mary University of London.
