
The field of psychology is a field of scientific study of human thoughts and behavior. Students who study psychology are always keen to understand theirselves and those around them. They will be more aware of the phenomenon of life and have a better understanding of it, which includes the human memory, the thinking styles, learning, problem solving, emotions and social interaction with one another. This program is offered to contribute to the development of the society to move forward towards the year 2020. At undergraduate level, students will be exposed to basic knowledge in psychology. Graduates will have a firm basic knowledge of psychology and psychological related areas of studies. Students will be expected to demostrate scientific knowledge and skills regarding human behavior, thinking, feeling, perception, reasoning, cognitive and physiological aspects of humans. This field is also emphasized on practical training and professional ethics, particularly in research.
