
The Chinese Studies Department of Southern University College is the first Chinese Studies Department from the Chinese Community-funded University in Malaysia approved by Ministry of Education. The objective of Diploma in Chinese Studies programme is to foster the study of Chinese studies at the pre-university level. Our curriculum focuses in both classical and modern Chinese literature, history and philosophy and discovery of the Western humanities. In addition, the department also explores Malaysian Chinese Literature and Malaysian culture as our main concern.
