
The Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health program was introduced in April 2014 and managed to get the Full Accreditation in May 2019 (MQA/ FA 2992). With intentions of being the nation’s top provider in promoting OSH education, PICOMS are committed to taking all necessary steps to gain local and international recognition.
This program prepares students with knowledge and skills in occupational safety and health (OSH) related field. The program was designed to address both market and industrial demand. To enhance the students’ practical skills and ability, students are trained and exposed to the process of hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control (HIRARC) at the workplace with the aim of mitigating and minimizing the impact of hazards.
