The Diploma in Hotel Management program, under the Faculty of Management PICOMS International University College (PICOMS) is the first non-medical related program offered by the PICOMS, as a diversification exercise in preparation for upgrading into a university-college by the year 2017. This program was selected as part of the college’s effort to contribute to the manpower needs of the hospitality industry, particularly in hotel operations in the country. According to PEMANDU, the tourism industry will require about 495,000 additional workers from 2017 until 2020 in order to meet the targeted growth plan, which offers great career opportunities for hotel management graduates.
