This Diploma in Mass Communication is a broad-based diploma course that covers Public Relations, Advertising, TV Production, Journalism, Media Planning and Marketing. It gives students a wide area to explore and discover where their true passion lies, with hands-on assignments backed with theory, so that it is easier for them to choose a major for their degree or decide on a career.
Pass with at least grade C in 3 subjects including English; A-Level: Full pass in any subject and credit in English at O-Level
3Bs including English
Pass with at least credit in 3 subjects including English; STPM: Pass with minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject and credit in English at SPM or its equivalent
Certificate: Pass Certificate (Level 3 MQF) in related field with CGPA 2.0; Community College Certificate: Pass Community College Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in related field, and credit in English at SPM and has gone through any bridging program (if required); SKM: Pass Level 3 Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) in related field, and credit in English at SPM and has gone through any bridging program (if required); Media & Communication Certificate: Pass related certificate; IB: Pass International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) Certificate
Credit in English at SPM or its equivalent; UEC English: B and above; For International students, TOEFL score of 500 OR IELTS score of 5.0 OR its equivalent is needed. If student does not meet requirement, English proficiency courses are needed to ensure student’s proficiency
