    The PICOMS 3 year Diploma in Nursing programme develops student know how in nursing, enabling them to provide safe and competent care in various healthcare settings. The course combines theoretical learning in classrooms and practical training in the simulation ward and skills lab. In addition, students will be required to attend practical placements in participating local hospitals. The strong emphasis in nursing knowledge and hands on training ensures graduates competency as Registered Nurses, while also giving them the cutting edge in the health care industry.

    The curriculum for the Diploma in Nursing is based on the national requirements from the Malaysia Nursing Board and is fully approved. The programme provides the student with a complete experience in the different fields of nursing. With this programme, the students will be able to select the particular area of interest to eventually focus on as PICOMS International University College arranges clinical placements for candidates to guarantee them a position in the healthcare services, be it locally or internationally.

  • O-Level/GCSE

    GCE/O-LEVEL: Pass with 5 grade ‘C’ in below subject

    ● Mathematics

    ● 1 science subject (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Science, Applied Science)

  • SPM/STPM

    iPassed Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia(SPM) or its equivalent with a minimum of five (5) credits in the following subjects;

    Mandatory credit in :

    • Mathematics (Elementary or Additional or Modern)

    AND

    Either ONE of the credit below :

    • General science
    • Biology
    • Chemistry and pass in Biology
    • Physics and pass in Biology
    • Applied sciences

    AND

    Credits in three (3) other subjects

  • English Requirements

    A pass in International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall band score of minimum 5.5;

    OR

    Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 550
