    The Diploma of Accountancy is a revised home-grown programme, (previuosly known as Diploma in Accounting and Finance) that is more specifically designed to deliver a suitable level of theoretical and practical understanding in accounting that is useful in the workplace. This programme consists of various sub-disciplines and covers different aspect with broad base knowledge in financial accounting & reporting, management accounting, financial management, computerised accounting, taxation, auditing, economics, company law, management, entrepreneurship, financial mathematics and information technology skills & application. At the end of the programme, graduates should be able to demonstrate specific skills in the areas of accounting as well as apply their knowledge and skills to solve problems and make right decisions in different areas of business. Students will receive the best of experiential learning and current industry knowledge from our dedicated and experienced staff. Besides that, students will also acquire skills that are relevant to dealing with the complex and challenging international business environments. This programme is suitable for those who are interested in working with the government and private sector as assistant accountants, account officers, assistant managers, bank officers, financial officers or administration officers. Graduates can also further their study at degree level in local and foreign higher institutions in specific field such as accountancy, other professional qualifications.

Entry Requirements

  • SPM/STPM
    Passed SPM or equivalent, with at least THREE (3) credits including CREDIT in Mathematics; and PASS in English; OR Passed the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia(STPM) or equivalent, with a minimum grade of C (CGPA 2.0) in any subject, and credit in Mathematics and passed in English Language at SPM level; OR Passed the Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with minimum grade of Maqbul, and a credit in Mathematics and passed English Language at SPM level; OR Passed Level 3 Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) in relevant field and passed SPM with at least ONE (1) credit in any subject and credit in Mathematics and pass English Language at SPM level; Pass STPM or equivalent with a minimum of Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in any subject; OR Pass STAM with a minimum Grade of Maqbul
  • Other
    Passed certificates or equivalent with relevant fields. Other equivalent qualifications which are recognised by the Malaysian Government
  • English Requirements
    For International students, score 550 for TOEFL OR score 5.5 for IELTS OR equivalent.
