  • Description
    The program aims to produce highly trained professionals in accounting especially to produce accredited accountants accredited by the Malaysian Institute of Accountans (MIA) and other professional accounting bodies. The curriculum of the program is formulated by taking into account key features in the formation of graduates who meet the needs of the accounting profession and the needs of various sectors including the business, banking and public services sectors.

Entry Requirements

  • SPM/STPM

    Pass a Malaysian High School Certificate (STPM) or equivalent with at least a C + grade (NGMP 2.33) in 2 subjects and honors in Mathematics and graduate English at the Certificate of Education Malaysia (SPM) level

  • Matriculation/Foundation

    Pass a Matriculation / Foundation / Foundation with at least a CGPA of 2.50 and a degree in Mathematics and graduate in English at SPM level

  • Other

    Other qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia

  • Direct Entry to Year 2 of Degree
    Diploma

    Graduate Diploma (Level 4, MOH) in accounting or related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and honors in Mathematics and English language proficiency at SPM level

  • English Requirements
    Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 2 For overseas students, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a score of 500 or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a score of 5.0 or equivalent. If students do not meet these criteria, HEPs must offer English Language Courses to ensure that the student's proficiency is sufficient to meet the program requirements
