The Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honours is a broad industrial-driven degree programme, which equips you with the fundamentals of engineering and science with the technical skills and knowledge required, shaping you to be literate, highly numerate and competent in all aspects of civil engineering. Our Programme Educational Objectives (PEO) aim to produce graduates who: • are employable in the global construction industry and other related fields of the Built Environment • pursues post-graduate qualifications to satisfy a passion for research and life-long learning • participates in continuous professional improvement leading to professional licensure

Entry Requirements

  • SPM/STPM

    i. Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with Principal passes in Mathematics and Physical Science

  • A-level

    Pass A-Level with Principal passes in Mathematics and Physical Science

  • UEC

    Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least Grade B in five (5) including Mathematics and Physical Science;

  • Matriculation/Foundation

    i. Pass Basic programme (Foundation Studies) with at least a of CGPA 2.00 in related field from institutions recognised by the Malaysian Government; or ii. Pass Matriculation, Ministry of Education, Malaysia in related field with at least a CGPA 2.00;

  • Other

    i. Pass New South Wales Higher School Certificate with at least Band 3 in two (2) subjects inclduing Mathematics and Physcial Science; or ii. Pass South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) with at least a Grade B in two (2) subjects including Mathematics and Physcial Science; or iii. Pass Canadian Pre-University Studies/ Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) including passes with at least 60 marks in two (2) subjects including Mathematics and Physical Science; or iv. Pass International Baccalaureate with at least 24 points; or v. Pass Diploma in Civil Engineering programme or related fields with at least a CGPA 2.00 from institute that is recognised by the Malaysian Government; or vi. Pass BTEC HND programme in Civil Engineering or related field from institute that is recognised by the Malaysian Government; or vii. Equivalent qualification as recognised by the Malaysian Government.
