  • Description
    The programme focuses on developing practising pharmacists who can make a real difference to patients’ well-being while having a rewarding career. The knowledge of drugs will progress from the study of how drugs are made and analysed for purity, to how they are formulated into dosage forms acceptable to patients; and their use in the prevention and treatment of diseases. The programme integrates scientific knowledge while attaining practical, clinical and professional skills, to equip students to be competent healthcare professionals of the future.

Entry Requirements

  • SPM/STPM

    STPM
    CGPA 3.00 with Grades of BBB, ABC or AAC in three (3) subject i.e.:
    • Biology; and Chemistry ; and Physics or mathematic with at least a B in Chemistry subject

    a) Malaysian applicants are required to pass Bahasa Malaysia and English with at least a Grade C in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or its equivalent
    b) Compulsory to pass minimum a Band 3 in Malaysia University English Test (MUET) before students graduate
    OR
    Obtained English qualification as below:
    i. Score of 550 in Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
    OR
    ii. Band 6.0 for International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) with minimum Band 5.5 for each skill – Writing, Reading, Listening/Speaking (WRLS)
    *If the English requirement of (i) dan (ii) is not met, Band 3 MUET is applicable.

    A-LEVEL
    3B OR 2A1C OR 1A1B1C in Biology AND Chemistry AND Physics OR Mathematic with at least Grade B in Chemistry subject (With reference to the Universities and Colleges Admission Service (UCAS) Score system implemented in United Kingdom, for A-Level results, i.e. Score of A+ =140, A=120, B=100, C=80)

    *The required 3B proposed by the Malaysia Pharmacy Board (LFM) is to equal the total score of 300 to B for Chemistry subject.
    a) Malaysian applicants are required to pass Bahasa Malaysia and English with at least a Grade C in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or its equivalent
    b) Compulsory to pass minimum a Band 3 in Malaysia University English Test (MUET) before students graduate
    OR
    Obtained English qualification as below:
    i. Score of 550 in Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
    OR

    B. Unified Examination (UEC) qualification as below: Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)
    Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least Grade B4 or 70% in the following five (5) subjects:
    • Biology; and
    • Chemistry; and
    • Physics; and
    • Mathematic; and
    • Additional Mathematic /one other subject
    AND
    a) Malaysian applicants are required to pass Bahasa Malaysia and English with at least a Grade C in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or its equivalent
    b) Compulsory to pass minimum a Band 3 in Malaysia University English Test (MUET) before student graduate

    Foundation in Science / Matriculation or Pre Medical and Pharmacy studies
    Foundation in Science / Matriculation OR Pre Pharmacy/Medical studies with CGPA 3.0 above with at least Grade B for Chemistry AND
    The course must be run for at least one (1) year
    a) Malaysian applicants are required to pass Bahasa Malaysia and English with at least a Grade C in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or its equivalent
    b) Compulsory to pass minimum a Band 3 in Malaysia University English Test (MUET) before students graduate
    OR
    Obtained English qualification as below:
