Description
This program is designed to meet the needs of trained professionals in the field of Rural Development who are going to work in the public and private sectors, especially in the framework of programs and rural programs to help improve the socioeconomic status for rural community. Students in this program will apply curriculum relating to human development, basic agriculture, rural management, communications, land law, information technology and rural tourism. Therefore, on graduating our graduate can apply these to develop the rural community economically, improve the quality of life and manage the country in an efficient and sustainable manner. Emphasis is given on changing the mindset and attitude of the rural population to develop self-confidence and self-reliance.

Pass SPM/SPVM with at least credit in three (3) subjects including Bahasa Melayu and two (2) other subject and pass History and English
O-Level/GCSE

Pass the O-Level with at least a Grade C in three (3) subjects
Other

Pass SKM Level 3 in the related field and
a) Pass the SPM with at least one credit in one (1) subject and
b) Through the strengthening program (if necessary)

Apply for Community College MQF Level 3 equivalent to a related field and
a) pass then SPM with at least one credit in one (1) subject; and
b) through the strengthening program (if necessary; Or

Pass Certificate (Level 3 MQF)in the relevant field with minimum CGPA of 2.0; or

Pass and STPM or equivalent to earn at least a Grade c (NGMP 2.0) in one (1) subject;
